Explore the best time of winter in the Riedel Nature Reserve as we search for birds and wildlife on a snowshoe trek. We’ll be on the lookout for grouse, woodpeckers, chickadees and other birds, and possibly fox. The trip will follow established snowshoe trails, so beginner snowshoers or birders are welcome! Dress for the weather, and bring a snack or lunch. We will have some snowshoes available to borrow. Please register online on our website and indicate if you will need to use equipment. Meet at the Creamer's Field farmhouse to carpool to the site as parking is limited. Darla Theisen and Ryan Marsh will lead the walk. Please contact Darla at 907-687-1829 if you have any questions.
